The story revolved around when Chewbacca met his heroic end in the New Jedi Order novel Vector Prime. Chewbacca was temporarily stranded on a planet during a mission for the Rebel Alliance. It revolves around the efforts of saving the Emperor and the Empire as Vader uncovers the secrets of the Starfighter Council and locates the mysterious “Ghost Prison.” 

In this Dark Horse comic, Laurita Thom starts off arriving at the Academy on Coruscant to graduate. Unfortunately, he finds that the place is suddenly attacked by a terrorist plot initiated by Gentis, the headmaster.
