The 1989-90 NBA Hoops Series 1 box is a classic "junk wax era" staple that helped ignite the basketball card boom. A standard factory-sealed box typically contains 36 packs, with each pack holding 15 cards. Series 1 content focused on cards #1–300 out of the full 353-card set. Features a distinct white card face with a color action photo bordered by a basketball "lane" in team-specific colors.
