Spike is actually a STEGOSAURUS, a very gentle, plant-eating dinosaur.In order to keep their bodies at a nice,comfortable temperature during days in the hot jungle, STEGOSAURUSES developed two rows of spikes along their backs to keep blood flowing like an air conditioner during the day, and a heater during the cold nights. At the end of their tails, STEGOSAURUSES grew four long and hard spikes that could be used as a club for defense.
